Our first HOPE Ministry Team visitation on mothers day 2010 at "The Lincoln Home" in Belleville was a phenomenal time! We were able to share the love of Jesus with some wonderful folks. We also shared in conversation how good the Lord is to all of us. It was a blessing to see the youth of our church take part in this ministry and bring hope to those who can't go to church for whatever reason.
As I watched our ministry team share with the residents of this home without hesitation, I saw the Word of God that says: "Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature" being carried out by these wonderful children of God. They were simply telling the residents Jesus loves you by their; acts of kindness, their smiles, their hugs and for some, their tears. It was a time of sharing Jesus and His love. We have only just begun in this HOPE Ministry but God will bring it to completion. Take a moment and look at the pictures below of the HOPE Ministry in action.
